Madison, Wis. – Last week, the Wisconsin Water Alliance (WWA) presented its first ever Outstanding Water Legislator of the Year Award to five state lawmakers, including Representative Todd Novak (R-Dodgeville). However, Novak’s Democratic opponent questioned the motive behind the award and the organization granting it.
With a gubernatorial proclamation declaring October 18 as “Wisconsin Hemp Day”, the Wisconsin Hemp Alliance recognized six legislators for, “their outstanding leadership in promoting hemp and their unwavering commitment to fighting for our state’s hemp farmers.”
So far this year, three different people each have donated more than $2 million to a political party in Wisconsin.
