Arcadia Book Club discusses ‘Sanctuary’ by James (DeVita) Cleary

Join the Arcadia Book Club for a virtual discussion of the geo-political thriller Sanctuary, written by local friend and author Jimmy DeVita (under the pen name James Cleary). The author researched, wrote, rewrote, and edited much of the novel right inside Arcadia Books, making this meeting a special celebration of both the author and the book’s release.
About the book: In a United States crippled by climate disasters, billionaire John Brandt has prepared for the great unraveling by building “Sanctuary,” a vast luxury mansion and underground bunker beneath the parched Nebraskan Great Plains. While Brandt, his family, and his security team retreat below, a desperate group of raiders fights to survive above ground. As tensions rise, battle lines are drawn between the haves and the have-nots in a high-stakes game of survival.
