Sanctuary Book Talk & Signing with Jim DeVita

Join American Players Theatre for a special book talk and signing with Jim DeVita (writing under the pseudonym James Cleary) to discuss his electrifying debut thriller novel, Sanctuary! DeVita—a Long Island native, National Endowment for the Arts Literature Fellowship recipient, and theater professional—will sit down with Managing Director Sara Young in John’s Place for a discussion on the book. Sanctuary explores a post-apocalyptic near future where a billionaire family retreats to a luxury underground bunker in the Nebraskan Great Plains after climate disasters cripple the United States, only to face a desperate group of raiders above ground.

Following the 45-minute book talk, attendees can head down to the Gateway Gift Shop to purchase a copy and have it signed by the author. (Copies can also be ordered ahead of time from Arcadia Books in downtown Spring Green!)
