Sand Wrestling Independence Day Celebration

Top Dawgs Wrestling presents the Sand Wrestling Independence Day Celebration at Fireman’s Park, held as a featured part of the Lone Rock 4th of July Celebration. This year’s exciting beach-style tournament features a special appearance by AAU Team USA Gold Medalist Elijah Joles. The event is proudly sponsored by EJ Wrestle and Wis-Coat Asphalt Maintenance.
Matches will follow fast-paced, high-action sand wrestling rules: the first wrestler to reach 5 points wins the match. Points are scored via high-amplitude throws (5 points), feet-to-back control (3 points), out-of-bounds contact (1 point), or forcing a competitor’s major body part to the ground excluding moves in motion (1 point)
Wrestler Uniform Requirements: Boys must wear at least tie shorts and girls must wear at least a sports bra and spandex.
