Spring Green Community Library Book Discussion: ‘The Listeners’ by Maggie Stiefvater

Join the Spring Green Community Library in the Community Room to talk about The Listeners by #1 New York Times bestselling novelist Maggie Stiefvater.
About the Book: Set in January 1942, the novel provides a mesmerizing portrait of the Avallon Hotel & Spa, a luxury resort tucked away in the wilds of West Virginia. Local girl-turned-general manager June Porter Hudson has skillfully guided the hotel through the early stages of World War II. However, when the hotel’s aristocratic owners strike a secret deal with the State Department to house captured Axis diplomats, June is forced to convince her staff—many of whom have family on the front lines—to serve luxury to Nazis with a smile. Meanwhile, FBI Agent Tucker Minnick arrives, listening closely to the hotel walls for secrets while harboring a dangerous one of his own.
