Stonework at Weaver

Get hands-on with the Driftless Trail by moving rocks and building sustainable trail features alongside the Driftless Area Land Conservancy (DALC). Volunteers will gather at the Weaver Road segment to use stone to reinforce the path, ensuring it can withstand heavy use and the rugged Driftless landscape. DALC staff will be on-site to demonstrate proper stonework techniques and provide guidance throughout the workday, making this a great opportunity to learn a new skill while contributing to a lasting community resource.
