Summer Nature Series – Discovering Anthotypes

June 24 @ 9:30 am 11:00 am

Discover the magic of anthotypes by using turmeric and the power of sunlight to create natural images! This hands-on class combines art, science, and nature to encourage creativity, curiosity, and experimentation.

As part of the “Summer Nature Series,” students will spend the summer exploring the outdoors through projects inspired by forests, rivers, gardens, stones, flowers, and the night sky. Each session includes a brief art history lesson, a technique demonstration, and a hands-on project suited for all skill levels. All supplies are included (unless otherwise discussed in advance), but participants should bring a snack and a water bottle.

Note: Participants are welcome to come and go as needed, and staying for the full session is not required.
