Unity Chapel Summer Sundays: A House Not Made with Human Hands
July 26 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
All are welcome to Unity Chapel’s Summer Services—casual, welcoming worship and speaking events with reflections on values, belonging, history, and spaces featuring reflective silence and shared singing.
This service features Rev. Kelly Weisman Asprooth-Jackson, co-minister of the Unitarian Society of Madison, and focuses on beauty as a religious and spiritual value—the idea that beauty holds meaning unto itself rather than serving strictly as a means to higher ideals. This theme will be examined through the historic works of Jenkin Lloyd Jones and Frank Lloyd Wright, alongside William Channing Gannett, who served as an inspirational bridge between the uncle and nephew pair.
