Unity Chapel Summer Sundays: We The People

All are welcome to Unity Chapel’s Summer Services—casual, welcoming worship and speaking events with reflections on values, belonging, history, and spaces featuring reflective silence and shared singing.

This service, titled “We The People,” features Rev. Meg Riley of Minneapolis, MN. The Twin Cities were recently recognized by the Kennedy Foundation for a “Profiles in Courage” award for the way the people united to resist a violent invasion by a paramilitary, government-funded ICE. This reflection explores what it is about our shared history in Minnesota and Wisconsin that gives us the strength to stand up for each other, and what others can learn from these events to keep their communities safe.
