Trail Maintenance Training & Workday

Join the Driftless Area Land Conservancy (DALC) staff and fellow trail enthusiasts for a hands-on day of learning, trail work, and time spent outdoors. Whether you are completely new to trail stewardship or already have some experience, this workday offers a great chance to learn the basics of trail maintenance and put those skills directly into practice. Staff will lead participants through practical techniques for keeping trails safe, sustainable, and enjoyable—including addressing drainage and erosion, clearing vegetation, and maintaining the trail surface.

Afterward, everyone will work together on the trail to make a visible difference for the community. Advance registration is required.
