Beyond Casey and Diana: A Brief History of HIV/AIDS

June 23 @ 6:00 pm 7:00 pm

Join Daniele Tyler Mathews, Costume Designer and HIV Consultant for the production Casey and Diana, for an insightful pre-show presentation and open community discussion. This free community event offers a brief historical overview and dialogue touching upon what living with HIV/AIDS was like during the chronological setting of the play, what the experience looks like today, the medical and social progress achieved over the decades, and the barriers that still remain to be broken.

This presentation serves as an educational framework to expand upon the real-world histories that inform the theater company’s current stage work.

Note: While admission is completely free, attendees are requested to RSVP online in advance to reserve their seats.
