Shitty Barn Session 376: Maya de Vitry // Carl Hauck
September 16 @ 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Join The Shitty Barn for Session 376 featuring a captivating double bill with Maya de Vitry and Carl Hauck!
Nashville-based fiddler-turned-songwriter Maya de Vitry features a voice that glides effortlessly between tenderness and strength. She will be performing in support of her fifth full-length album, All My Faith, a self-produced indie-folk and alt-country project recorded alongside five-time Grammy Award-winning engineer Sean Sullivan that prioritizes raw presence and lyrical grit over studio polish.
Opening the evening is Chicago-based songwriter Carl Hauck, returning with his first full-length album in fifteen years, Death Farm. Hauck crafts a deeply personal sketchbook of Americana using finger-picked guitar and a poignant tenor. His adventurous, self-recorded tracks seamlessly guide listeners through a spectrum of human experiences, blending subtle cultural critiques and understated humor with warm, pastoral folk melodies.
Doors open at 6:00 PM, show starts at 7:00 PM.
