Lost Lakes is a musical collaboration between Corey Mathew Hart and Paul Mitch that developed into a strong songwriting and production team focused on well-crafted Americana tunes and tight vocal harmonies. Following their successful self-titled debut album, the duo returned with their sophomore record in February 2026. The new album represents an exercise in perseverance, as it was recorded remotely from home studios throughout the COVID pandemic and delayed further while Paul Mitch fought cancer. The resulting tracks showcase a sonic step forward for the band, ranging from deeply personal songs to classic country-style storytelling.

The band is back on tour celebrating their new album, No Fun In The Chrysalis, an expansive collection that captures a warm, intimate, and celebratory sound recorded at The Hive in their hometown. Working again with Grammy-winning producer Brian Joseph (Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver, Humbird), the record beautifully expands upon the "go electric" direction first explored on their 2021 release, Namesake. The album features the honest and vulnerable lead single, "I Am Not Sad," written by co-founder Soren Staff regarding his personal struggles with anxiety and self-worth.
