Art with Intention: Impressions of Nature: Exploring Watercolor

Spring Green Community Library 230 E. Monroe St., Spring Green

Join the Spring Green Library for a creative session exploring the shapes, textures, and beauty of leaves using watercolors. Participants will craft one-of-a-kind postcards filled with color, creativity, and meaning, transforming each piece into a loving gesture. The goal is to slow down, connect with nature, and share a little kindness through the simple joy of sending a handmade postcard. No prior experience is necessary, and all supplies—including stamps—will be provided.

Guests are invited to a day packed with championship BBQ, live music, cold drinks, and community fun at the annual Smoke in the Valley BBQ Cook Off. Attendees can watch talented pitmasters battle it out for top honors as the aroma of smoked meats fills the air. Whether attendees are BBQ enthusiasts, backyard grillers, or just looking for a great day out, they will not want to miss this delicious event. Those who think their BBQ has what it takes to impress the judges and earn bragging rights can gather a team and sign up to compete.

Fall Fish Boil at Kaul Park

Attendees are invited to the Fall Fish Boil at Kaul Park. The meal features cod, potatoes, carrots, onions, coleslaw, and dessert, with serving running from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, or until gone. The fish boil is $15 per person and $7 for children ages 12 and under.
