William R. Clark, Professor Emeritus of Wildlife Ecology at Iowa State University, will present an informative talk on the evolution and conservation of the cat family. The presentation covers his research on bobcats in the Midwest and North America, their Lynx cousins, the status of pumas, and endangered ocelots, as well as the history of ancestral sabertooths and cheetahs that once roamed the continent.
