Lost Lakes is a musical collaboration between Corey Mathew Hart and Paul Mitch that developed into a strong songwriting and production team focused on well-crafted Americana tunes and tight vocal harmonies. Following their successful self-titled debut album, the duo returned with their sophomore record in February 2026. The new album represents an exercise in perseverance, as it was recorded remotely from home studios throughout the COVID pandemic and delayed further while Paul Mitch fought cancer. The resulting tracks showcase a sonic step forward for the band, ranging from deeply personal songs to classic country-style storytelling.
