Writer and retired Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Technician Al Cornell will present on his book, A Year At A Beaver Pond. The presentation details his 400 hours spent observing a tenth-acre beaver pond, where he identified 61 bird species and studied how beavers act as a keystone species to build valuable ecosystems. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.

Learn how to build a magazine-worthy charcuterie board just in time for the holiday season. The library will provide a variety of cheeses, meats, fruits, and candies, though participants are welcome to bring their own supplies. The class is led by Amber Sawyer, an author, executive chef at Quail Run Golf Course, and owner of the baking business Sawyer Sweets. Space is limited, and registration is required to attend.
