Attendees can come for help—beginner to mid-level knitting assistance is available—learn new skills, or simply brush up on current ones. It is a great opportunity to get out of the house for a few hours and enjoy the proven health benefits of craft work, including knitting and crocheting. Join when you can, and invite your knitting and crocheting friends to tag along.

    Writer and retired Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Technician Al Cornell will present on his book, A Year At A Beaver Pond. The presentation details his 400 hours spent observing a tenth-acre beaver pond, where he identified 61 bird species and studied how beavers act as a keystone species to build valuable ecosystems. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.

The class is led by Amber Sawyer, an author, executive chef at Quail Run Golf Course, and owner of the baking business Sawyer Sweets. Space is limited, and registration is required to attend.
