5/29 SW Cup
Saturday, May 29th was the 11th annual SW Golf Cup between rival SWAL and SWC conferences. The event is held each year at Dodgepoint Golf Course. The top 24 golfers from each conference compete head to head in various formats of match play. This year, Eli Johnson, Ashton Price, Connor Fields, and Jackson Thier represented River Valley for the SWC. At the end of the day, the SWC was victorious over the SWAL, 12.5 to 3.5. Eli Johnson and Ashton Price won their head to head matches over their SWAL opponents contributing to the overall score.

WIAA Boys Golf Regional competition began Tuesday, June 1st with the Dodgeville Regional, held again at Dodge-Point Golf Course. Nine teams competing for 4 spots to move on to the Prairie du Chien Sectional. River Valley turned in some seasonal bests from Eli Johnson – 79, Ashton Price – 94, and Luke Snow – 96 to secure 3rd Place and their ticket to Prairie du Chien on June 8th.

These four teams will join: Edgewood, Lake Country Lutheran, Edgerton, Lodi, New Glarus, Lakeside Lutheran, Monticello, Evansville.
Top two teams and two individuals not associated with those teams move on to the State Level.
