Join the Driftless Area Land Conservancy (DALC) staff and fellow volunteers for a hands-on workday at Wintergreen, a beautiful 245-acre preserve along the Lower Wisconsin Riverway. Together, participants will tackle seasonal stewardship projects to care for the property, improve habitat, maintain trails, and ensure this special place remains welcoming for the community. No previous experience is needed, as DALC staff will provide all necessary guidance and tools. Whether you are a longtime volunteer or joining for the very first time, this is a fantastic opportunity to get your hands dirty, learn about land stewardship, spend time outdoors, and make a tangible difference.

During the Summer Market (mid-May to mid-October), vendors gather every Saturday morning outside the Spring Green Community Library from 9am - 12pm.

Come learn everything you need to know about seed saving from Taliesin Preservation Kitchen Gardener, Abbie Lehman! Discover the importance and magic of saving seeds, both in the garden and in the wild. This course will cover climate zones, plant taxonomy, life cycles, pollination, propagation, and seed anatomy. By the end of the class, you will be ready to properly gather, process, store, and even eat your seeds! Plus, all participants will get to take home some of their very own Taliesin seeds.

Join The Shitty Barn for Session 380 featuring a special Night 2 performance by Rhett Miller! A revered singer-songwriter, Miller is best known for his more than three decades fronting the popular rock band Old 97's. Along with the band, he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award during the 2025 Americana Awards at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. Between Old 97's projects—such as their 13th studio album, American Primitive, released in the spring of 2024—Miller has released eight solo albums, including his most recent 2025 release, A lifetime of riding by night.
