Plain Fire & EMS 3-Day Celebration Parade

The Plain community capped off a busy weekend on Sunday as crowds lined the streets for the “Circus” Parade as part of the annual Plain 3-Day Fire & EMS Celebration.

A colorful procession of floats, local organizations and first responders from all around the area made their way through town to celebrate the final day of the Celebration.

The annual procession remains a highlight of the summer, drawing families out early to grab a good viewing spot along the route.

Once the final trucks rolled past, the gathering naturally migrated toward Plain Community Park for lunch. Volunteers served up the department’s famous Chicken BBQ, while a drive-thru option on Bridge Road ensured folks on the go didn’t miss out.

The afternoon carried on with the Children’s Pedal Pull and live polka and covers by Leather N Lace, providing a relaxed conclusion to the weekend’s festivities.
