Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical Jr. Auditions
Step into the spotlight! The River Valley Players invite local students grades 3rd-8th to audition for a fun and energetic production of Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical Jr., directed and choreographed by Michael Stanek. No prior preparation is needed—attendees will just be asked to sing a little, learn some movement, and read a few lines in a welcoming, pressure-free environment. Auditions will be held in the River Valley Intermediate School Band Room.
Classic Movie: The Lady Eve
An eligible, socially awkward heir to a brewery empire boards a cruise ship bound for New York and soon becomes the target of the single ladies on the vessel, as well as a trio of card sharks out to swindle the pushover out of his money, until one of them starts to fall for him romantically. Starring Barbara Stanwyck and Henry Fonda, directed by Preston Sturges.

The Spring Green Community Library hosts an All-Ages Storytime on most Wednesdays. The event features a little music, a little action, and lots of great books, and is always followed by a craft or interactive activity. Quiet toys are available to play with if children get the wiggles. September themes include "Fruits & Veggies" and "Chickens" in honor of National Chicken Appreciation Month.
ADRC Drop-in
Representatives from the Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Eagle Country will be available for a drop-in session. The ADRC serves Crawford, Juneau, Richland, and Sauk Counties, providing valuable resources, information, and assistance for aging adults and individuals with disabilities. Community Meal at Christ Lutheran Church
Attendees are invited to a weekly Community Meal organized by and hosted at Christ Lutheran Church. The meals take place on Wednesday evenings from September through May, specifically when RV schools are in session. Families, kids, and seniors are all welcome to attend this community gathering.

Mid Morning Matinee

Tech Help Drop-In: Arena Village Hall
The River Valley area public libraries and the River Valley Broadband Initiative host a tech help drop-in session. Community members can visit the Arena Village Hall on the third Thursday of the month for assistance with their technology. If you need additional help with your technology, the River Valley Tech Help Line is available via phone or email to set up an in-person appointment at your local library or community center.
Field Day: Grazing, Virtual Fencing, & Silvopasture
Join the Iowa County Uplands Watershed Group, the Savanna Institute, and OGRAIN for a Field Day event at Seven Seeds Organic Farm. Attendees will gather insights on incorporating grazing, virtual fencing, and silvopasture into farming operations. The schedule begins at 2:00 PM with a tour of virtual fencing for cattle and a discussion on the economics of managed grazing led by Dr. Randy Jackson and farmer Jim Munsch. At 3:15 PM, the event shifts locations for a silvopasture tour where host Michael Dolan will share his agroforestry practices and transition to organic production. Snacks will be provided throughout the event.

Lone Rock Farmers Market
The Lone Rock Farmers Market gathers every Thursday, featuring local artisans and farmers offering a variety of goods.
Home gardeners are also encouraged to bring their overstock to sell. Vendors can set up for a $10 weekly fee with no pre-registration required.
Pokémon Trade Night

SLEEP – Sleep Education for Everyone Program
The Sleep Education for Everyone Program (SLEEP) is an evidence-based course from Michigan State University designed to help improve your sleep quality. If you have problems getting enough sleep, falling asleep, or staying asleep, this interactive six-week program teaches sleep hygiene best practices, Stimulus Control Therapy, mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and more. The class is taught by Danielle Sander, Health & Well-being Educator at UW-Extension Sauk County. Because this is an interactive session, active participation by those who attend is highly appreciated. Pre-registration is requested and can be completed online or over the phone.

The Spring Green Farmers Market operates year-round, rain or shine, offering the best in local produce and handcrafted goods. The market's mission is to support local farmers, food producers, and artists while providing a forum for a healthy community. Wisconsin’s Historic Bars and Breweries Presentation by Jim Draeger
The Old Franklin Township Historical Society and the Kraemer Library are sponsoring a presentation by Jim Draeger, where he discusses Wisconsin's grand history of bars and breweries. Draeger has co-authored two award-winning books about Wisconsin's history alongside Mark Speltz: "Fill'er Up: The Glory Days of Wisconsin Gas Stations" (2008) and "Bottoms Up: A Toast to Wisconsin's Historic Bars & Breweries". Refreshments will be served to attendees.
Experiential Dinner Series
