Prehistoric Terrarium Craft
There's something magical about building a little world from scratch—especially when dinosaurs are involved! Join this hands-on terrarium workshop where you will create your own prehistoric scene, complete with beloved dino characters like a T-Rex, Triceratops, or Stegosaurus. Each kit includes all the supplies you need to bring a miniature ancient world to life, and you will head home with a charming mini Jurassic world to call your own.
Summer Afternoon Storytime
Dig into a summer of dino-mite adventures at the "Unearth a Story" Storytime series! Join us for a roaring good time as we dig up thrilling tales, unearth playful activities, and drum up a prehistoric beat. Little ones and their caregivers are invited to enjoy stories, songs, and fun dinosaur-themed activities all summer long. The event is designed for children ages 7 and under and their caregivers, but everyone is welcome to share in the fun.
Yarn Rocks!
Come to the library to meet fellow knitters and crafters in the community. Attendees can come for help—beginner to mid-level knitting assistance is available—learn new skills, or simply brush up on current ones. It is a great opportunity to get out of the house for a few hours and enjoy the proven health benefits of craft work, including knitting and crocheting. Join when you can, and invite your knitting and crocheting friends to tag along.
